Share
Looking to improve your golf game or simply enjoy some entertaining golf content? YouTube is a goldmine for golf enthusiasts, offering a wide range of channels to cater to all skill levels and interests. Over the last 6 years, the golf entertainment market has experienced a strong shift in how people consume. People are now favoring YouTube golf over watching professional events and this has opened the door for many people to pursue dreams previously not thought possible. Below are a few of the top YouTube channels that have led the way in the streaming space. Check out my opinions down :
Entertainment:
-
Good Good Golf: A crowd favorite and also one of my long-time favorites, Good Good Golf is leading the charge in the YouTube streaming sphere. Good Good posts vlog-style videos that pride themselves on eye-capturing camera quality and attention-grabbing entertainment. While the group has seen some personnel changes through the years, the channel continues to be an ever-growing streaming product.
-
Bob Does Sports: Another crowd favorite...Bobby Fairways, Joey Cold Cuts, and Fat Perez have carved out a niche of their own in the streaming space by providing a really funny and relatable product to subscribers. The comedic dynamic that this power-three brings to the table is how they've differentiated themselves from others. Highly recommend this one if you haven't already started watching.
-
Individual Vloggers (Grant Horvat, Micah Morris, Luke Kwon, Wesley and George Bryan): These individuals are paving a unique path for themselves, adopting the things they learned while with Good Good and applying them to their own style. Their individuality is popular with many fans and is largely why they have excelled in this space.
-
Taco Golf: I really enjoy throwing this channel on when I am at work or laying down for bed. The channel boasts a variety of both the traditional YouTube golf vlog-style videos and also a unique no-commentary style video where the most beautiful aspects of golf are the focal point.
-
PGA Players Getting Involved: PGA players have not been oblivious to the shift in entertainment opportunities in the golf industry. Leading the way, Bryson Dechambeau has amassed quite the following by giving fans a glimpse into the life of a professional athlete. His videos are relaxed, less formal, and more personable which has taken a liking by the many who watch.
Instructional:
-
Rick Shiels Golf: Known for his engaging teaching style and humorous commentary, Rick Shiels offers a wealth of instructional videos, tips, and gear reviews.
-
Me and My Golf: This channel provides a unique blend of golf instruction and entertainment. The hosts, Piers Ward and Andy Proudman, offer expert tips and engaging banter.
-
Golf Channel: The official YouTube channel of the Golf Channel offers a variety of content, including tournament highlights, instructional videos, and interviews with top golfers.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned golfer, these channels have something for everyone. So, grab your phone, tablet, or laptop and start exploring the world of golf on YouTube!
